Welcome Eagles to your final year at St Johns.

I’m so excited to be a part of your journey and I’m so excited for the year ahead.

We have so many amazing things planned already and what a fantastic start to the year we have had. The new team captains have been selected and each of them are excellent role models. Congratulations to all our captains and vice captains.

Already as a year six family you have played in an epic game of scatter ball and created extraordinary pieces of art. I hope you enjoyed your first two days.

Just to remind you and your parents you will need your swimming kits on Wednesday. Don’t forget your goggle letters if you require them.

On Monday you will begin to fill in your reading diaries (at least five times a week) and you will receive spelling homework that will be due in on Thursday (we are not in school on Friday).

Don’t forget to try your Abacus logins to make sure they work.

See you Monday

Miss McDonald
